4Klip cares about the protection of your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains what data is collected, why, and how to exercise your rights.
1.Data controller
The data controller is 4Klip, reachable at 4klip.contact@gmail.com.
2.Data collected
- Account: email address, name (optional), encrypted password, or Google identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Videos: the files you upload and the videos produced, stored for the duration of the service.
- Subscription: your plan and your minute usage (payments are handled by Whop, which processes billing data).
- Technical: connection and processing logs, necessary for operation and security.
3.Purposes and legal basis
Your data is used to provide the service (performance of the contract), manage your subscription, ensure security and comply with our legal obligations. We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising purposes.
4.Subprocessors and hosting
To operate, 4Klip relies on technical providers:
- Railway (application hosting) — United States.
- Neon (database) and Cloudflare R2 (video storage) — servers in the European Union.
- Modal (on-demand AI processing) — United States.
- Whop (payments) — United States.
Transfers outside the EU are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5.Retention period
Uploaded and produced videos are kept for as long as your account exists, so you can find them whenever you need them; they are permanently deleted when you delete your account or ask us to. Account data is kept as long as the account is active, then deleted on request or after a prolonged period of inactivity.
6.Your rights
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection. To exercise them, write to 4klip.contact@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
7.Cookies
4Klip uses only the cookies strictly necessary for operation (login session). No advertising or third-party tracking cookie is placed without your consent.
